Powell Relocation Group offers clean, secure, and climate-controlled storage space for local or long-distance moves. Our Grand Rapids and Houston storage warehouses are fire protected, and your household goods will be guarded by electronic security. 

If you need time before moving your belongings into your new home, let us know you need storage-in-transit when moving with Powell. After your goods are packed and loaded, they will be transported to a secure storage facility that is a proven partner in our network. We will identify that location for you. Depending on the location that is best for your move, our Grand Rapids or Houston storage facilities may be used. In any event, your goods are kept safe until you're ready for them to be delivered to your new address.

Clean Cargo Program

Powell Relocation Group and Walker Transfer-Powell are proud to have specially trained dogs that can detect bed bugs. Through our Clean Cargo Program, our dogs search lockers, boxes, luggage, moving pads, trailers, and warehouses. When using our services, customers can feel confident that their shipments are free of bed bugs.

Commercial Warehousing

We also provide short- and long-term commercial warehousing for store fixtures, commercial furniture and restaurant equipment, electronics, records storage, and more.

Powell carefully tracks your items upon arrival using our bar coded inventory management system. We note the location and departure of your items, and can pull them quickly from storage, provide electronic inventory status, or allow you to track your inventory online using our web portal.
